Welcome to Saké Puppets サケ パペット!  I’m Angela, and this is my husband Dan. Thanks for joining us on all our (mis)adventures as we explore the food, craft, and culture of our new home in Japan. (^_－)－☆

We moved to Tokyo in 2010 and haven’t looked back stopped eating since.  An editor and writer, Dan is a regular contributor to Comedy Central’s Indecision, though spends much of his day composing witty emails to his brothers.

When not wandering Tokyo’s side streets in search of craft shops or cafe lattes I design sashiko craft kits, available here. I also contribute to the design blog Spoon & Tamago, and host craft classes in Tokyo at the English Craft Club/英語でCRAFT. I am currently writing a book, details are forthcoming. (yay!)
